Copyright & the DMCA
MultiO respects the intellectual property rights of others. Some parts of the Service can carry user content in public — in particular, share links for conversations and comparisons, and content users upload. This page explains how to report alleged copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. §512, and how we respond.
Designated agent
Designated Copyright Agent. Five S LLC (the operator of MultiO) has registered its designated agent with the U.S. Copyright Office, and the agent is listed in the Copyright Office’s DMCA Designated Agent Directory. Send notices to:

How to send a takedown notice
To be effective under §512(c)(3), a notice must be a written communication to the designated agent that includes substantially the following:
- a physical or electronic signature of a person authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner;
- identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or a representative list, if multiple works are covered by one notice);
- identification of the material claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to let us locate it — for share links, the exact URL is what we need;
- your contact information (name, address, telephone number, and email);
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
- a statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Please note that under §512(f), anyone who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages.
What we do with a notice
On receiving a notice that substantially complies with the above, we will act expeditiously to remove or disable access to the material identified — normally by revoking the share link or removing the content — and we will notify the user who posted it, where we have a way to reach them.
Counter-notice
If your content was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a counter-notice under §512(g) containing: your physical or electronic signature; identification of the material removed and where it appeared before removal; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification; and your name, address and telephone number, with a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if outside the United States, for the district in which MultiO is located) and accepting service of process from the original complainant.
On receiving a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant and, unless they notify us that they have filed a court action, restore the material no sooner than 10 and no later than 14 business days after receiving the counter-notice.
Repeat-infringer policy
It is MultiO’s policy to terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers. This policy is also stated in our Terms of Service, and we apply it in practice, not only on paper.
A note on AI output
Most content on MultiO is AI-generated text produced in response to a user’s prompt. If a response reproduces material you own — or if a user republishes your text through a share link — the notice process above is the route to have it addressed, and we will act on compliant notices in the same way.
